The nights are getting darker, there is a chill in the air so the count down has begun for all the 2016 brides who are dress hunting! The Spring will be here in a flash so don’t put off wedding dress shopping so it’s then too late to choose the dress of your dreams. Here are some of our tips!

• Start to dress shop 12 months before your big day, this is a good idea because you may not be the bride who chooses the first dress they try on, so give yourself time. Make the right decision not a rushed decision so start to look ahead of time and that should help you not to stress.
• It’s your decision that matters, you don’t have to bring everyone on your wedding list to choose your dress, it is after all you that has to wear it and has to look back on the pictures!
• Think of a number and stick to it where you can! Budgets are a great help, don’t be tempted to try on dresses twice your budget even if your friends insist you do for fun, what if nothing else lives up to that dress and then you can’t have it 🙁
• Love it! Would you change anything about it other than the fit? If so is it really the dress for you? Don’t just make do, this is your once in a lifetime dress!
• Enjoy it! Put your trust into the girls in store, it’s what we do! Yes we can look at you and know what would suit you but we like to get to know you a little first, we ask lots of questions not because we are nosey but we want to build up the same picture you have in your head – we are on your side!
