OK – stop! These are things we hear all the time!
Firstly if you are engaged, have looked at venues and are already looking for ideas then it isn’t too early to shop for your wedding dress. Your dress sets the theme for EVERYTHING else, it’s one of the most important bits so why would you leave it until one of the last things to choose?
You really don’t need to loose weight first, your wedding dress is the dress that makes you FEEL amazing regardless of size, take all the pressure off yourself and go for it!
Do you notice how when we talk about dress shopping we keep saying ‘YOUR’ that’s because it has to be your choice, now don’t get us wrong, having a trusted person with you that knows your taste isn’t a bad thing, but having 9 people with you all with differing options and are vocal with it doesn’t sound that great does it! We will always be honest with you, we would never let anyone leave the boutique with a dress that didn’t suit them, but it is YOUR dress so make sure you listen to your heart above all else.
You don’t need to know what you want, if anything we find brides enjoy it more and find the whole experience easier without trying to locate a dress that they found on Pinterest 3 years ago. Be open to trying on different styles and let us lead you too, we will go through the dresses with you and make sure you show off all of your best bits!
