We may be heading into Christmas but some lucky ladies are heading off to warm shores for a romantic escape and to be married.
Packing your wedding dress might feel quite scary so here are some pointers for you;
- Firstly try and pack it in to a bag/box you can keep with you all the time whilst you travel.
- Get the right size travel box and tissue paper if it doesn’t come with it – ours do!
- Lay your dress on the floor face down and spread it out
- Place tissue paper down the length of the dress
- Fold the train inwards over the tissue paper making the dress the same width all the way up
- From the bottom of the train start to roll the dress up
- Wrap the rolled dress in more tissue paper and place into your bag/box
- Away you go!
3 Top tips when taking your dress with you as hand luggage;
- If your dress is quite big once you’ve follow the pointers above place it into a plastic bag and squeeze the air out of it reducing the size
- Keep your hanger and hanging bag with you, if you have to take it out of the bag/box anytime at the airport and can’t pack it again you will have these to hand!
- Once you arrive hang your dress straight away and place it in a steamy bathroom to help any creases drop out, but ask your hotel for their steaming service
