Wedding Hints and Tips

Hints and Tips

A few hints and tips for the build up to your big day!

Delegate some key tasks to friends and family you trust

Get all quotes and orders in writing and start a wedding file, it may seem very organised but it pays off

Write lists, lists, lists and more lists, it never seems so bad when things are written down

Take time off from the wedding plans and spend time together

Make sure you both agree on all the details and compromise

If guests are stressing you both out just remember whose wedding it is, it’s not their day!

When you send out your wedding invites ask your guests to tell you there 2 favourite songs to be played on the night, it’s a good way to get everyone on the dance floor

Drop hints about the kind of hen/stag night you want don’t do anything you don’t feel comfortable about and if you don’t want to do anything consider a quiet meal with close family and friends.

If you want to loose weight or tone up for the day make a plan you can stick to, remember it’s you that has to look at your wedding photos for many years to come you need to be completely happy with how you look and that includes the outfit that you choose

Don’t choose a wedding dress for you surroundings, so what that it’s a small church or civil wedding this is still your wedding day, when are you going to get a chance to wear that wedding dress again!!

A few tips for the day!

• Ladies, make sure you wear clothes that won’t mark your skin while getting ready, bra strap marks when you wear your strapless dress is not a good look!

• Wear a shirt or loose neck top to the hairdresser or your top may need to be cut off after your hairs been done!

• Allow plenty of time in the morning, getting into your dress may not be as easy as just doing up a zip!

• Eat something in the morning it’s a long day

• Give someone your camera to look after for the day and take lots of photos of the morning, use it as a picture diary, it’s the little things that you forget after.

• Don’t rush down the isle take it all in

• Take some time out during the day as Husband and Wife to watch your guests and take in your surroundings

• Get up and dance, let your hair down (I don’t mean take out those grips!) you’ve been planning this for ages it’s time to enjoy all your hard work
