Stay open minded and try on different shapes, styles and colours, from fishtail to fairytale, straps to strapless, white to coloured. At this point it’s worth trying on anything that catches your eye, you have nothing to loose and you may be surprised, most brides will choose a wedding dress that is totally different to what they first had in mind. Remember you’re wearing it, you may be told that you look fantastic in it but if your not feeling it are you going to enjoy wearing it for your big day? Also don't be tempted to take lots of people with you when you are trying on wedding dresses, too many opinions can be very confusing.

When you’ve found the wedding dress that makes you smile and you can't stop, and you know that’s the one you want to wear on your big day, you fill out the paperwork checking the dates you’ve given, contact details and dress details are correct, you then pay a 50% deposit with your order, your wedding dress is then ordered. The balance of your wedding dress is then paid when it arrives. Any alterations are separate if you need them and are paid directly to the seamstress.

Most girls need some alterations on their wedding dress when it arrives, we can organise this for you and you then pay the seamstress direct for any alterations you need or changes you want to make.

If your bridesmaids live away you can always get the measurements yourself then together we can look at the size chart to make sure you are happy with the size being ordered. It is also sometimes easier to have the dress sent to the bridesmaid to have it fitted nearer where they live.

The most popular way is paying for your wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses is in 2 stages, a 50% deposit is paid with your order then the balance is paid when it arrives. You could also pay the balance in stages before any fittings if that helps. You can also pay the full amount in instalments if there is enough time so feel free to ask for details.

Most wedding dresses have a 4-5 month delivery time, sometimes longer, we always like to leave plenty of time for your wedding dress to arrive and for fitting so a good guide is 7-8 months before your wedding to place an order. We like to get dresses delivered about 2 to 3 months before your wedding, but if you want your wedding dress delivered sooner than that (if for example your wedding is the following year) just let us know.

Most bridesmaid dresses have a 3 month delivery time, sometimes longer, we always like to have plenty of time for your bridesmaid dresses to arrive and for fittings as not all bridesmaids live local so a good guide is 5 -6 months before your wedding to place an order. We like to get the dresses delivered about 2 months before your wedding, but if you want them delivered sooner than that (if for example your wedding is the following year) just let us know.

Not everyone has loads of time to get their wedding dress on order for lots of reasons but you have a couple of options, you could buy a sample wedding dress off the rail which means the wedding dress is yours there and then, it also means you can sometimes grab a bargain! Or most companies can do rush orders which you would have to pay a supplement for, we will always find out delivery times before taking your order if time is rushing by, so don’t panic there is always a solution.

Or most companies can do rush orders which you would have to pay a supplement for, we will always find out delivery times before taking your order if time is rushing by, so don’t panic there is always a solution.

We will give you a rough idea when your Wedding or bridesmaid dress will arrive when you place your order. We will then call you when it to make an appointment for the 1st fitting if we are having it altered for you.

Your first fitting is usually 8-6 weeks before your wedding and then you will have a final fitting 2-1 weeks before your wedding day, it is important to let us know if you are dieting so the first fitting isn't done too early!
And don't forget your wedding shoes and your wedding underwear, we can't do your hem if you have no shoes!!

The first fitting is usually 8-6 weeks before the wedding and then the final fitting 2-1 weeks before the wedding day, we are sometimes able to judge if your bridesmaid will need a second fitting or not, often if it's just the hem to be adjusted a second fitting isn't required, which is great if your bridesmaids don't live locally!
